Joe Angus is the EMEA Head of Trade Operations, leading the end-to-end confirmation and settlement functions across Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Liquidity, and Repo within Business Operations Services (BOS). In this role, Joe is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, risk management, and scalable support for a broad range of investment strategies and client activities. Previously, Joe served as EMEA Head of Asset Operations, overseeing the integrity and accuracy of position data within Aladdin, a critical foundation for trading, investment accounting, and enterprise-wide business processes. Prior to joining BlackRock, Joe was EMEA Head of Asset Servicing at Citadel, where Joe led corporate actions operations and managed strategic relationships across the firm's prime brokerage network. Joe also held senior operations roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, spanning Asset Servicing, Client Services, Credit Middle Office, and Settlements across both APAC and EMEA.
