James Carpenter

James is a Senior Vice President and head of Fund Administration at PIMCO. He is responsible for oversight of PIMCO’s European domiciled fund administration teams, including financial reporting, fund finance, tax, accounting and fund development. He is the designated person for Capital and Financial management for PIMCO’s Irish domiciled funds. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he was an actuary at Ernst & Young London. He has 13 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Kent.
