Gerard Francis

Gerard Francis is head of Fusion Data Solutions. As part of the Data & Analytics group, Francis is responsible for Fusion, the firm’s cloud-native data solution for institutional investors that provides end-to-end data management, analytics, and reporting across the investment lifecycle. Francis has spent his career in financial data and technology and has deep expertise and experience in solutions ranging from front to back office, multi-asset classes and global markets. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2021, Francis spent 25 years at Bloomberg, where in his most recent role as head of Enterprise Solutions, he was responsible for product development, commercials, business growth, sales, and service delivery. Enterprise Solutions encompassed Reference Data, Real-Time Data, BVAL evaluated prices, Real-Time and Batch Distribution, Cloud Data Distribution, Multi-Vendor Data Management, Quant, and Data Science Solutions. Francis holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has worked in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Mumbai.
