Frances Heeney is Managing Director of Product Development at Principal Asset Management. In this role, Frances is responsible for new product development globally and facilitates capital raise within the real estate boutique of Principal Asset Management. Frances oversees product messaging, client development, project and stakeholder management and client lifecycle management in the real assets space. Prior to joining Principal Asset Management, Frances was a Director at CBRE Investment Management where she was part of the Strategic Client Account and Business Development Teams. Frances has held client relations, market insights, analysis, presentation and consultation roles for a global investment manager, two international commercial real estate firms, a boutique urban planning and communications firm and a global design and innovation-focused architecture firm. Frances is a connector of people and ideas, with experience living and working across four countries, delivering on a global remit from a client and product perspective. Frances holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts, with a specialization in Geography and Urban Studies, from the University of Toronto, and attended the National University of Singapore, where she studied Urban Planning and the Geographies of Southeast Asia.
