David Weaire

David Weaire is Head of Operations – Investments for Investec Asset Management. He is responsible for the global investment platform, focusing on delivering a scalable base for portfolio managers to operate and generate active returns across asset-classes. Under this remit, he takes the direct lead on Portfolio Implementation, Treasury, Cash Flow Management and TCA. Mr Weaire started his investment career in 2004 at MF Global as an Equity and Derivatives Sales Trader, before moving to BlackRock to lead a Transition Management team, focusing on third party restructuring of assets.
