Bhavin Mankad is Head of Engineering, Order and Trade Management, at Bloomberg. In this role, he leads multiple teams of software engineers who are building and maintaining Bloomberg AIM, a leading order and investment management technology solution that is used by nearly 15,000 professionals at over 900 client firms globally to manage more than $22 trillion in assets. He joined the firm 16 years ago and has worked on various portfolio management, risk analytics, and trading systems for the buy-side. He is passionate about building large-scale distributed software systems and is a technology leader with a proven track record for forming and growing highly efficient and motivated teams that work in Agile environment. Bhavin holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Arizona and a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Gujarat University in India.
